The 18th Annual Benesse Lecture: Hank Willis Thomas, 2 p.m.

Hank Willis Thomas is a photo-conceptual artist working with themes related to identity, history and popular culture. Appropriation and juxtaposition are two of many strategies with which Thomas orchestrates his interdisciplinary practice and confronts our difficult history.

 

The 18th annual Benesse Lecture is endowed by the Benesse Corporation. Members FREE, students $5, general admission $10. Reservation recommended.
