CINCINNATI — Enter if you dare! Venture into the second most haunted museum in the country at the Cincinnati Art Museum’s FREE event, Art After Dark: Into the Hallow’s Night, on Friday, October 28, 5–9 p.m.
Into the Hallow’s Night guarantees an evening of spooky, art-filled fun for all. Visitors will enjoy FREE access to special exhibitions Van Gogh: Into the Undergrowth and Kentucky Renaissance: The Lexington Camera Club and Its Community, 1954-1974, happy hour drink specials, live music, Halloween-inspired dance performances, food available for purchase, a costume contest and more. Watch your step as you might see the ghost of Vincent van Gogh himself!

NEW, FREE EXHIBITION, EMPLOYED, OPENS OCT. 29
After the Art After Dark preview, Employed: A Staff Art Exhibition will officially open to the public on Saturday, October 29, 2016. Beyond the walls of the Art Museum, many staff members are practicing contemporary artists in various media including printmaking, furniture design, painting, fashion arts and photography. This exhibition celebrates their talent, highlighting the museum’s legacy of nurturing working artists and exhibiting art generated in the local community. More than 70 select artworks created by 37 artists and staff members will be on view. Museum admission, parking and Employed exhibition admission are free.

Beginning on November 3, 2016, the Cincinnati Art Museum will offer extended hours on Thursday evenings. The museum will stay open between 5–8 p.m. to better accommodate the needs of students, families and working professionals. All special exhibitions, including Van Gogh: Into the Undergrowth and Kentucky Renaissance: The Lexington Camera Club and Its Community, 1954-1974, will be FREE to the public during these extended hours.
