 \, Longing\, and Art\,” on Thursday\, February 19 from 6–8 p.m. in the Gr
 eat Hall at the Cincinnati Art Museum. IRiS Alloys are adventurous\, part
 icipatory discussions where people from diverse viewpoints meet to wander
  together in conversation on a topic related to sensing or perception. As
  always\, IRiS Alloys are free and open to the public. Join us and contri
 bute your thoughts and ideas as we talk about how art engages with the se
 nses and how this is related to emotional impact\, memory\, and longing.<
 /div>\n<div aria-hidden="true">&nbsp\;</div>\n<div>This particular Alloy 
 was co-developed with Dr. Ainsley Cameron\, Curator of South Asian Art\, 
 Islamic Art\, and Antiquities and Sara Birkofer\, Associate Director of A
 ccessibility and Wellness Programs at the Cincinnati Art Museum\, and des
 igned as a companion program to the recently opened special exhibit title
 d "<a href="/art/exhibitions/longing-painting-from-the-pahari-kingdoms-of
 -the-northwest-himalayas/">Longing: Painting from the Pahari Kingdoms of 
 the Northwest Himalayas</a>\," which guests can view before the start of 
 the conversation. Joining us will be art therapist Charlotte Reed from Ar
 t Equals\, architect\, designer\, and artist Nandita Baxi Sheth\, multime
 dia artist and educator Britni Bicknaver\, and poet and essayist Preeti P
