 icious peony flower symbolizes grace\, luck\, and lasting spring. Worksho
 p participants will learn how to paint thriving peonies using an ancient 
 ink-and-wash technique with Dr. Yufeng Wang\, professor and award-winning
  artist of Dayton\, Ohio. Complete a peony art piece to take home!   <br 
 /><br />Children must be at least 6 years old to participate. Children un
 der 12 must be accompanied by an enrolled adult.</p>\n<p><strong>About th
 e Artist:</strong></p>\n<p>Yufeng Wang\, PhD\, is a professor and a Chine
 se brush painting artist. As a teenager\, her love of traditional Chinese
  art was inspired by renowned artists Sun Qifeng and Fan Zeng in Tianjin\
 , China. Dr Wang’s artwork aspires to create a sense of peace and harmony
  in nature and humanity. Her paintings have received many awards includin
 g the Dayton Painters and Sculptors Award and the Burnell Roberts Purchas
 e Award. Dr Wang’s work is in the collection of numerous institutions inc
 luding Sinclair College and Wright State University. She has taught brush
  painting at the Dayton Association of Artists\, Dayton Metro Public Libr
 ary\, Dayton Miami Valley Schools\, Wright State University\, Sinclair Co
 llege\, the Dayton Business and Technology High School\, Dayton Woman’s C
 lub\, and the 2022 Dayton Art in the City Event. Dr. Wang was the feature
 d artist in the March 2023 Art Exhibition at the Springboro Performing Ar
 ts Center. Her artwork will be featured at the Centerville Library (Woodb
