Cincinnati Art Museum Board of Trustees Named for 2016-2017

CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Art Museum’s board leaders and new trustees were named this fall.

Jon Moeller, Chief Financial Officer of Procter & Gamble since 2009, returns as the President of the Board of Trustees and Martha Ragland, who previously served as the President of the Board, serves again as Chairperson for 2016-2017.

Andrew DeWitt, President/CEO of Dewey’s Pizza, continues to serve as Vice President. Amy Hanson, former Macy’s Executive, serves as Treasurer for the second year. Polk Laffoon IV, freelance writer and civic volunteer, continues to serve as Secretary for 2016-2017.

In addition, five new trustees have been elected: Tim Elsbrock, Marcia Joseph, Bruce Petrie, Jr., David Wolf and Manuel Chavez III.

Tim Elsbrock is Market President for Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati. With more than 30 years of experience in banking with Fifth Third, Elsbrock and his regional leadership team provide strategic direction for growing Fifth Third’s Commercial Investment Advisors (IA) and Retail and Mortgage lines of business in Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern Kentucky. Elsbrock received his B.A. in Communications from the University of Cincinnati.

Marcia Joseph has been a member of the Cincinnati Art Museum for more than 30 years and a docent for more than 25 years. She and her husband own Camargo Racquet Club located in the Village of Indian Hill. They built Camargo in 1972 and have a membership of over 600 members. Joseph is active in the museum and also co-manages the racquet club.

Bruce Petrie, Jr., a partner with Graydon Head & Ritchey, has served on the Executive Committee and chairs Graydon Education Group serving secondary and higher education. His law practice also includes health/elder, labor/employment and public sector law. Petrie, an accomplished oil painter and contemporary illustrator, completed training at the Cincinnati Art Academy and is a founding member of the Greenacres Artists Guild.

David Wolf is a founding partner of Community Management Corp (CMC), a real estate company developing mostly apartment communities, office buildings, shopping centers, as well as other low rise properties in the Greater Cincinnati area. Wolf graduated from Walnut Hills High School, The University of Cincinnati, and Salmon Chase School of Law. Wolf has also completed graduate study at The University of Illinois and Harvard Business School.

Manuel Chavez III, CEO of Chavez Group, has be involved with the purchase, leasing and development of millions of square feet of real estate nationwide. Chavez is actively involved in serving and supporting local educational organizations and initiatives.
