Art in Bloom is an event where floral artists from across the globe are selected to interpret artworks with bloom-inspired designs. Set against the backdrop of the museum’s art-filled galleries, floral installations bring fresh perspectives to the works of art, creating an immersive, vibrant experience for all ages. The 2025 event will feature floral displays throughout the museum, interactive workshops, and exclusive programming designed to captivate and inspire. Museum visitors can enjoy the floral displays for free during open hours. Some related programs are ticketed.
Art in Bloom 2025 is co-chaired by Ann M. Keeling and Litany Webster.
Back by popular demand in 2025, Natasja Sadi, an Amsterdam-based floral artist will return for another Art in Bloom weekend. Ms. Sadi will inspire guests through on-site creations, a workshop and a lecture.
James Beard Award winner and foraging enthusiast, Alexis will offer an entertaining workshop on the art of foraging and cooking with edible plants. Get ready to learn, taste, and explore the fascinating world of wild edibles with her unique blend of storytelling, humor, and song!
On Sunday, April 27, our iconic Drag Brunch returns, featuring world-renowned drag icon, Laganja Estranja. She has performed across 16 countries and six continents, on numerous television shows and with artists such as Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, and Christina Aguilera. In 2019, New York Magazine named Laganja as one of the “Most Powerful Drag Queens in America”.
A connoisseur of beauty, Joshua finds inspiration in the exquisite works of Tiffany & Co. artisan Jean Schlumberger, whose depictions of nature breathe life into his jewelry. Joshua is drawn to creations that embody a harmonious balance: masculinity and femininity, light and dark, old and new.
A native Cincinnatian, outside of work Julian Collins goes by Julian Creates where he loves to bring joy to the world through his colorful menswear creations. He is a Know Me pattern designer; BERNINA Expert and national sewing educator. When he is not sewing, he loves connecting with people throughout the sewing community, especially in his Facebook group Sew “Manly” and doing social media Sew Alongs through a collective called Black Sewing Network.
During work hours Julian serves as Interact for Health’s presence in urban and suburban areas, representing Interact for Health to diverse audiences within communities, contributing to key community initiatives, and bringing knowledge of communities’ cultures, history, values and landscape to inform decisions at all levels. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in health promotion and education from the University of Cincinnati.
Through her lens, Hatsue captures the rich tapestry of food, culture, and community. Her playful spirit often finds her transforming her surroundings with a cobalt blue spray paint, leaving a striking mark on her environment.
An acclaimed artist whose work has graced the Today Show, Good Morning America, MTV, VH1, Miss Teen USA, and the NBA All-Star Game, Lea inspires the next generation through her nonprofit, Lachey Arts, which champions new works in the performing arts.
Lyric’s imaginative creations breathe life into the world around us, inviting viewers into a realm of whimsical colors and forms. Her art speaks to a hopeful, communally-thriving vision for the future, transcending the challenges of our time.
A certified Sogetsu Ikebana instructor and 3-Dan Japanese Calligraphy expert, Teruko has enriched Cincinnati’s cultural landscape since 1997, promoting Japanese language and arts through her diverse engagements.
