Cincinnati Art Museum’s strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency has again earned it a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator for the sixth consecutive year.
"Attaining a 4-star rating verifies that Cincinnati Art Museum exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in your area of work," said Michael Thatcher, President and CEO of Charity Navigator.
"Only 12% of the charities we evaluate have received at least 6 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that Cincinnati Art Museum outperforms most other charities in America. This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator sets Cincinnati Art Museum apart from its peers and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness."

But Charity Navigator is not the only prestigious organization to recognize the Cincinnati Art Museum. Last month, the museum was named a finalist for the 2021 IMLS National Medal for Museum and Library Service.
Other recent accolades for the museum include a number of awards from CityBeat’s 2021 Best Of Cincinnati including being named as #1 Art Museum, #1 Arts and Crafts Classes, #1 and 2 Museum Exhibits, #1 Gift Shop and #2 Podcast. The results were tallied after hundreds of thousands of votes were cast.
In addition, CAM earned enough votes to be named the winner of “Best Date Night” in Chic Guide (Cincy Chic) in March.
