Etchings for Federico García Lorca juxtaposes the poetry of the Spanish poet with images by Sean Scully. The artist immerses himself in the Humanistic tradition of literature and art by using the text as his muse to create his images. These prints should not be viewed as illustrations but as independent works that celebrate the expressive character of printmaking through colors and luminosity.
