Black & Brown Faces: Paying Homage To is the second exhibition organized by Paloozanoire and presented in partnership with the Cincinnati Art Museum. Building on the impact of 2020’s inaugural Black & Brown Faces exhibition, this presentation expands the representation of Midwestern artists of color to 15. Each brings their own interpretation of portraiture paying homage to 15 living honorees of color who are working to make our city a more equitable and just community. 

 

Artists include: Javarri Lewis, Blake Lenoir, Keenan Litmon, Kandice Odister, Frank Young, Nytaya Babbitt, Torri Shaaron, Francesca Miller, Christian Drye, Kevin Nance-West, Natalie Orr, Magnus Juliano, Rashad Orlando, Wyze, Crystal Miller.

Honorees include:  Damon Jones, Karla Boldery, Gee Horton, Dora Anim, Roula Allouch, Jasmine Coaston, Adrienne Wiley, Lydia Morgan, Alandes Powell, Tyran Stallings, Tyra Patterson, Lynn Watts, Annie Timmons, Barry Larkin, and Black Owned founders: Means Cameron, Merk Ervin, Gil Stowers, Tone Dodds-Ali.

Art After Dark is back and we’re celebrating the opening of Black & Brown Faces: Pays Homage To–the second exhibition organized by Paloozanoire.
