Listen as Khonisa X Anderson and Russell Ihrig explore relationships between Anderson’s 2020 Vision... A Moment In Time and Cyrus Kabiru’s sculpture, MachoNne Ngiri (warthog).
Khonisa was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was artistically inspired at a young age by her Mom’s exposure to cultural experiences, and by her late Aunt, Nosha Muhammad, a nationally known fabric artist. She specializes in charcoal and graphite pencil portraits and works in a variety of other mediums. Each piece she creates is different and has its own unique style. Khonisa’s passion shines throughout her art.
