Enjoy an evening with author-illustrator Andy J. Pizza! We will start with dinner followed by a presentation by Andy in person with Q&A, then end with a guided art-making activity. Andy J. Pizza is a New York Times Bestselling author-illustrator of many books for children and adults such as Invisible Things and A Pizza with Everything On It. Pizza is also the creator of the popular podcast “Creative Pep Talk” which Vanity Fair says “is every bit as bright and effervescent as its title would lead you to believe.” For the past 15 years, Pizza has worked as a commercial illustrator for a wide variety of top tier clients including Apple, X-Box and The New York Times

Pizza is very public about his ADHD and has become a vocal advocate for embracing neurodivergence. He lives in Columbus, Ohio, with his wife, three kids and two dogs. 

For each program attended, you can earn CEU’s and 1–2 graduate credits for an additional fee.    

About Evenings for Educators   
Evenings for Educators is the museum’s monthly teacher professional development program. Through the lens of the museum’s collection and exhibitions, Evenings for Educators supports all subjects taught in the classroom. It also encourages a STREAM approach as well as Twenty-First Century Learning strategies. The program is offered for teachers of all grade levels and disciplines, art appreciation volunteers, pre-service education majors, teaching artists, as well as community and museum educators.
