CAM Kids Day: In the Frame

Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. 

Free. Drop-in and pre-registered programs available.

Enjoy photographic fun at this month's CAM Kids Day, inspired by the exhibition Nancy Rexroth: Secrets of My Power. Participate in a collaborative stop-motion video with artist Kenton Brett, make cyanotypes with artist Charity Rust Jordan, and create art with Visionaries + Voices. Enjoy an interactive performance from folk musicians Wild Carrot, drop in for Storytime with the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library, participate in a scavenger hunt, and more!

 

Drop-in activities include:

  • 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Make art with Visionaries + Voices in Gallery 151
  • 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Participate in a collaborative stop-motion video with artist Kenton Brett in the Great Hall
  • 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Make cyanotypes with artist Charity Rust Jordan in the Koetters Family Classroom
  • 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Craft your own frame in the Rosenthal Education Center (REC) 
  • 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Create a self-portrait in Gallery 127
  • 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Play with light boxes in the Great Hall
  • noon–1 p.m. Enjoy an interactive music performance with Wild Carrot in the Marek Family Commons
  • noon–1 p.m. Drop in for Storytime with the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library in Gallery 126
