We’ve been busy in the Rosenthal Education Center (REC) celebrating 10 years of art-filled fun with A RECade: 10 Years of the Rosenthal Education Center! If you haven’t had a chance to check out this latest installation, come join us between now and the end of April. Throughout the remainder of February and the beginning of March, you can create magic wands inspired by Julia Lipovsky’s 2023 REC Residency and paper glasses and pipe cleaner accessories inspired by Pam Kravetz’s 2019 REC Residency. In addition to these fun art-making activities, experience past REC themes through interactive wall stations and learn about former Artists in Residence.
The REC’s Art Bar is stocked with recycled materials from the local art thrift store, Indigo Hippo, to help spark your creativity! During your visit, grab a REC activity booklet and complete the scavenger hunt inside the museum for a special prize.
The Rosenthal Education Center is open during the museum’s regular operating hours. No reservations required. Admission is free.
The Cincinnati Art Museum is supported by the generosity of tens of thousands of contributors to the ArtsWave Community Campaign, the region's primary source for arts funding.
