The new Duo membership level offers an exciting opportunity to share the museum with a friend (or several!). Whether you’re considering joining at the Duo level or upgrading an existing Individual membership, read on to see if Duo is a good fit for you.

What is Duo?

Duo lets you share your Cincinnati Art Museum membership with a friend, partner, neighbor, mail carrier—anyone you think might enjoy exploring the museum’s collection, events, and programs with you. It has all the benefits of our individual membership level, but for two.

You can set it up in one of two ways: as a separate dedicated membership, or as a single membership for one, plus a guest. Either way, your membership includes admission to ticketed exhibitions for two adults, discounts in the Museum Shop and Terrace Café, two-person access to the museum’s exclusive member events, and more discounts and opportunities throughout the year.

1 - Dedicated Pair: Naming an Additional Member

When you set up your Duo membership, you will have the option to name an Additional Member. If you put a specific person’s name in the Additional Member field, then both you and that person will have your own memberships to the Cincinnati Art Museum. This means you can visit the museum together as a couple or you can enjoy all of your member benefits separately.

Duo as a dedicated pair:

• functions as two separate individual memberships (at a discount!)
• allows you and a second person to enjoy benefits without the other cardholder present, and ...
• it is perfect for couples, besties, adult parents and children, and creative duos.

2 - Plus One: You and a Guest

Leaving the Additional Member field blank transforms the Duo membership into an eternal "plus one," allowing you to bring a different person to the museum each time you visit. It’s a great way, as a CAM fan, to share your love of the museum with many other people in your life. 

Duo as a plus one:

• allows you to bring whoever you like as your plus one and share CAM membership perks with your whole circle, one at a time, and ...
• allows flexibility for couples and other pairs who know there might be times when one member cannot attend exhibitions and special events and programs.
