Discover how Ansel Adams (American, 1902–1984) developed from a 14-year-old tourist with a camera into America’s most celebrated photographer. Drawn from the Center for Creative Photography’s unparalleled Ansel Adams Archive, featured works range from one-of-a-kind photographs from Adams’s teenage years to jaw-dropping mural-sized prints of his most iconic mature views.
Members are invited to view Discovering Ansel Adams before the exhibition opens to the public. Enjoy snacks and a cash bar in our Great Hall. When you arrive, please check-in at the Visitors Services desk. Learn more about Discovering Ansel Adams.
