Chart a new course on your understanding of art with this dynamic gallery experience led by artist and educator Ryan Nichole Leary and poet and curator David Oxner III. Explore the ceramic artworks of Recall. Reframe. Respond. The Art of Paul Scott with a guided tour and facilitated dialogue. Then, transform visual interpretation into personal expression with a hands-on poetry workshop. Through observation, conversation, and creative writing, guests will uncover how Scott reimagines historical transferware ceramics to confront issues such as climate change, industrial history, and colonialism.
While this program is designed for adults, teens 13+ accompanied by an adult are welcome.
