The REC is operated by museum education staff; along with a team of outgoing, passionate volunteers. REC volunteer responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering questions, and assisting young visitors with activities. Volunteers also help with the general upkeep of the space. This includes organizing and maintaining the art-making area and preparing program and activity supplies.
We ask that REC volunteers commit to working two shifts per month for a minimum of six months. Shifts are typically Tuesday - Sunday, 11am - 2pm and 2pm - 5pm. Educational credit may be available for volunteers depending on the requirements of your school or university.
