Cincinnati Art Museum’s community engagement team, Art for Life, has been on the move in the CAM Cruiser! The Cruiser is a mobile art-making unit—a Mercedes Sprinter converted into an art studio on wheels—that serves more communities across the Cincinnati metro area than ever before! This summer, we have connected with hundreds of people who contributed to our colorful mural project. Individuals decorated a “puzzle piece” with various fun art materials. By the end of the summer, the pieces will be combined, and our mural will be complete and feature dozens of beautiful, unique designs. Museum visitors can see the completed mural in the museum’s Marek-Weaver Family Commons this September.
If you created a puzzle piece with us this summer, look for it on display at the museum during the month of September—and keep an eye open for the CAM Cruiser when it visits a neighborhood near you.
