For the last 10 years, the Rosenthal Education Center (REC) has been building up the Tiny Artist’s Library with lots of books, toys, and educational materials to enjoy and explore! From books about making a great exhibition to mixing colors together, the REC has all the books that your little one needs to learn about art, no matter what age they are. The REC offers books tailored to various age groups with board books for babies to short chapter books for older children.

If you’ve checked out the Tiny Artist’s Library before, you may have seen a light blue box with headphones on the shelf as well. This funky gadget is known as a Yoto Player. Generously donated by Yoto to the REC, the Yoto Player is a screen-free audio platform designed for children. Designed with Montessori teaching principles, Yoto allows children to control their listening experience by using physical cards that unlock stories, music, and learning games. In the REC, the Yoto Player is always free and available to use during your stay.
In addition to hundreds of children’s books and the Yoto player, the Tiny Artist’s Library always offers toys for little ones to touch and play with. Visitors will find Magna-Tiles, magnetic train and animal figurines, magnetic building blocks, and Picasso tiles available for play located on the lowest shelf in the REC.
There’s always something for everyone in the Rosenthal Education Center. Be sure to check out the REC during your next visit!
