What a summer! The REC has been bustling with visitors trying to beat the Cincinnati heat and make the most of their summer before school starts. REC staff are excited to share that we’ve welcomed more than 10,300 visitors this summer—and couldn’t be more grateful for the community’s support. From making texture paintings to yarn creatures, there’s never a shortage of fun in the REC, and that’s all thanks to creative minds like yours! From all of us here at the Cincinnati Art Museum, thank you for making another summer so memorable.
But … the REC’s not done yet ... As the school year begins, we’re excited to introduce our next art project. Join us during regular museum operating hours to create a kaleidoscope inspired by Karen Saunders’ special exhibition, You and Me and the Space Between: Our Expedition Starts Now. Be sure to check out the REC’s Art Bar for fun and unique art-making materials to create whatever you want. As always, the REC offers scavenger hunts in our activity booklets. Complete the short scavenger hunt for a special prize! See you soon!
