Celebrate Cincinnati’s teen arts scene with a new, annual Teen Fest event at the Cincinnati Art Museum! This year’s event takes inspiration from the museum’s current exhibition What, Me Worry? The Art and Humor of MAD Magazine. Enjoy comic artist demos, meet local zine creators, and exchange artwork with other local teens at a zine exchange table. Get graphic novel recommendations from the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library, make zines with the Contemporary Art Center, create poetry with WordPlay Cincinnati, and more. Enjoy snacks and giveaways like free artist zines and tickets to the MAD Magazine exhibition. Be sure to pick up the new Teen Creative Passport—a handy guide designed to give teens and families across Greater Cincinnati access to art programs and employment opportunities at local organizations and museums.
We encourage you to bring copies of your own zines to exchange with other teens and creators at the zine exchange table. Please note that all language and imagery should be appropriate for family audiences. Hateful, violent, or explicit content is not permitted.
If you need accessibility accommodations, please contact us in advance at [email protected] or fill out the accessibility request form.
