Juneteenth Flag Raising at the Art Climb

*Due to rain in the forecast, the flag raising will take place inside the museum's Great Hall.*

Cincinnati’s 36th Annual Juneteenth Festival, which marks the elimination of American slavery, will be preceded by three flag raisings, the first of which will be held at the top of the museum’s Art Climb. The flag will be raised by Buffalo Soldier Reginald B. Murray. The event will include Bishop Todd O’Neal, Jason Holmes, the Juneteenth Celebration Choir, and others. Free.

In addition, the museum will offer free scavenger hunts at the museum and art-making activities related to Juneteenth during the festival on Saturday, June 17.
