Discover the connections between writing and art. Visitors will meet facilitators from Women Writing for (a) Change and a trained museum docent on the yellow couches in the Schmiddlapp Gallery (Gallery 151). Visitors will take a tour of Clearly Indigenous: Native Visions Reimagined in Glass; attendees of this program will then write a poem or essay based on the artwork they encountered. Afterward, participants are encouraged to share their work with each other.
This program is for all genders ages 16+. New and experienced writers are welcome. Bring your favorite writing materials or use the supplies provided.
